4th Annual Greenburgh Graham Art Festival

On May 30th, The Graham School Foundation sponsored the Greenburgh-Graham School District’s 4th annual Art Festival. 30 pieces of student artwork, generated under the direction of art teacher Jeff Fleisig, were on display and available for auction. Throughout the evening, there were also student performances showcasing their artistic and literary talents including  a Latin Dance performance led by professional dancer Yloy Yabarra and readings from Illuminations, the district's art and literary magazine.

The event was catered by the staff and students on campus, and the refreshments and hors d’oeuvres were delectable. One of the featured art works was a beautiful sculpture entitled "The Heart of Day and Night," created by students under the guidance of Chicago artist, Janet Mamon, which brought a generous donation at auction and was presented back to the school so all could enjoy it for years to come.

The proceeds from this event will fund future projects and activities that enrich the lives and learning of our students.
